Pesona Tiga Pantai

Laut tenang hampir tanpa ombak. Langit mulai merona merah, angin berembus sepoi-sepoi. Sebuah sore yang nyaris sempurna di Pantai Liang, Ambon, akhir Maret lalu.

Dhina, gadis muda dari Jakarta, duduk di tepi Pantai Liang yang berpasir putih lembut. Matanya menatap laut tenang berwarna gradasi hijau, toska, dan biru. Dia biarkan rambutnya dipermainkan angin.

Tidak jauh dari Dhina, empat bocah kecil bergantian melompat dari dermaga kayu. Byuuurr.... Dhina kecipratan air dan tertawa senang. Dia pun segera tergugah mencicipi sejuknya air Pantai Liang, hilir mudik bersama dua temannya yang berasal dari Ambon dan Jakarta. Sesekali wajahnya dicelupkan ke dalam air untuk melihat gerombolan ikan kecil yang hilir mudik di antara batu karang.

”Gilaaa... aku enggak mau pulaaaaang,” teriak Dhina kegirangan.

Tidak hanya Dhina, siapa pun barangkali merasa senang berada di Pantai Liang. Sejauh mata memandang, yang tampak adalah keindahan. Pantai bersih membentang panjang. Langit sore berwarna biru cerah dengan semburat merah. Agak jauh di tengah laut, kapal bergerak pelan menuju Pulau Seram yang tampak hijau. Bak lukisan surealis yang diciptakan alam.

Semua tampak menyenangkan di Pantai Liang, kecuali saat pengunjung hendak berbilas. Pengelola kamar mandi umum hanya menyediakan dua jeriken kecil air di tiap kamar mandi. Satu jeriken air yang jika dituang tidak sampai setengah ember ukuran kecil itu dihargai Rp 1.000. Kalau mau berbilas sampai bersih, Anda harus memesan berjeriken-jeriken air.

Pantai Liang terletak di Desa Liang, Kecamatan Salahutu, Maluku Tengah. Dari Kota Ambon, Pantai Liang berjarak sekitar 40 kilometer. Jarak itu bisa ditempuh dalam 30-an menit karena jalannya cukup mulus meski agak sempit. Sebelum sampai di Liang, kita disajikan pemandangan hijau di kiri kanan jalan.

Sebelum sampai di Liang, Anda bisa mampir sebentar di kawasan wisata Pantai Natsepa. Di situ, ada puluhan warung yang menjual rujak buah. Rasanya amat segar dan baunya harum.

”Kami menggunakan daging buah pala sehingga rasa rujak di sini mantap,” kata Lily Maatita, penjual rujak di Natsepa.

Pintu Kota

Pantai Liang satu dari beberapa pantai indah di Ambon. Di Desa Air Louw, Nusaniwe, Pulau Ambon, ada kawasan wisata pantai bernama Pintu Kota. Orang Ambon biasanya merekomendasikan tempat ini kepada para pelancong yang baru datang. ”Ini wajib dikunjungi,” kata Zein, penduduk Ambon.

Pintu Kota merupakan perpaduan antara pantai berpasir putih dan bukit-bukit karang. Sebuah bukit kecil yang menjorok ke laut memiliki lubang besar di tengahnya dan menyerupai pintu. Dari ”pintu” inilah, pelancong bisa melihat Kota Ambon di kejauhan dan kapal yang lalu lalang di Laut Banda. Singkat kata, lubang itu membingkai ”lukisan alam”.

”Itu sebabnya lubang itu disebut Pintu Kota atau Gerbang Kota,” kata Zein menjelaskan.

Sebelum mencapai di bibir pantai Pintu Kota, pengunjung harus menuruni tangga curam yang cukup membuat badan segera berkeringat. Jika masih punya tenaga, pengunjung bisa naik ke bukit dan memandang teluk dan tanjung kecil di sekitar Pulau Ambon yang ditumbuhi jajaran pohon kelapa.

Suasana begitu damai di sini. Suara-suara yang terdengar hanya angin laut yang membuat daun-daun bergesekan. Kadang terdengar gema suara teriakan orang di kejauhan.

Pintu Kota bisa ditempuh dari Kota Ambon dalam 20-an menit. Jalannya berada di antara tebing dan pantai. Ada kendaraan umum yang melayani rute Pintu Kota dari pusat Kota Ambon.

Tidak jauh dari Pintu Kota, ada Pantai Santai. Pantai yang masuk wilayah Latuhalat, Nusaniwe, itu biasa menjadi tempat para pelancong bertolak menuju lokasi penyelaman atau snorkeling di perairan Laut Banda. Tidak heran, di pantai itu hampir selalu ada satu-dua perahu mesin yang ditambatkan di dermaga.

Seperti Pantai Liang dan Pintu Kota, pasir di Pantai Santai juga berwarna putih bersih. Airnya jernih dan berwarna kehijauan. Beberapa keluarga yang terdiri dari orangtua dan anak-anaknya tampak asyik bermain pasir. Beberapa keluarga lainnya duduk di saung-saung tepi pantai sambil menikmati segarnya air kelapa. Seperti namanya, pantai ini benar-benar membuat orang yang ingin bersantai kerasan.

Tiga pantai, tiga pesona. Empat pantai, empat pesona, dan seterusnya. Pantas saja jika orang bilang Ambon tanah manise, jangan dilupae.

Dapat SIM Setelah Ujian 960 Kali

SEOUL, KOMPAS.com - Pantang menyerah. Itulah Cha Sa-soon. Demi mendapatkan sebuah surat izin mengemudi, dia rela mencoba ujian sampai 960 kali.

Kemarin, barulah dia berhasil mendapatkan SIM dan siap membeli sebuah mobil. Cha Sa-soon yang berusia 69 tahun itu akhirnya melewati ujian mengemudi, Kamis (6/5).

Kantor berita Yonhap mengatakan, Cha hampir setiap hari menjalani ujian untuk mendapatkan SIM sejak April 2005. Dia mengatakan perlu membeli sebuah mobil bekas kecil karena ingin mengunjungi anak-anaknya serta untuk keperluan bisnisnya, yaitu berjualan sayur-mayur.

Hebat benar semangat ibu Cha, tidak menyerah di tangan calo.

Wow! Tokek Raksasa Laku Rp 179 Miliar

NUNUKAN, KOMPAS.com — Luar biasa! Seekor tokek raksasa seberat 64 kilogram yang ditemukan di perbatasan Nunukan-Malaysia di Kalakbakan akhirnya terjual 64 juta ringgit Malaysia atau setara Rp 179,2 miliar (kurs Rp 2.800).

"Tokeknya sudah dijual dengan harga RM 1 juta per kilogramnya," kata Arbin, yang sempat mengabadikan gambar tokek tersebut saat dihubungi melalui telepon selulernya di Malaysia.

Sejak Harian Tribun Kaltim (Kompas Gramedia Grup) memberitakan penemuan tokek itu, telepon di kantor redaksi ataupun wartawan secara bergantian dihubungi para pengusaha yang mengaku ingin membeli tokek tersebut.

Karena itulah, wartawan Tribun Kaltim di Nunukan menghubungi Arbin yang berada di Tawau, Malaysia, untuk melihat kembali tokek yang berada di Kalakbakan itu. Setelah dicek lagi ternyata sudah dibeli oleh orang Indonesia.

"Tokeknya dibeli orang Indonesia kemudian dibawa keluar negeri, kalau tidak salah ke China," kata Arbin. Walau sudah terjual, masih banyak penelepon yang mengejar pembeli tokek tersebut untuk dibeli lagi dengan harga yang lebih mahal.

Tidak banyak informasi yang didapatkan Arbin mengenai transaksi tersebut sebab sang pemilik tokek juga sudah berangkat ke Kuala Lumpur. "Saya sudah mencoba mencari informasi siapa yang membeli, namun tidak ada yang tahu. Orang-orang sana cuma menyebutkan ada orang dari Indonesia yang membeli," ujarnya.
